Tondoor Smokehouse grew from years of hard work, persistence, and experience in the hospitality business. After roughly 23 to 25 years of serving guests, leading teams, learning operations, and understanding what makes people feel welcome, the founders decided it was time to build something of their own.

For Madhu Gyawali and Bibek Kunwar, Tondoor is more than a restaurant. It is a fresh start, a personal milestone, and a place to put decades of hospitality experience into practice under their own name.

Their goal is simple: serve bold Indian and Nepali flavors with warmth, consistency, and genuine hospitality — and build a place the Tyler community can enjoy for years to come.
